Facebook intends to beef up its messaging capability through the acquisition of the messaging app, WhatsApp in deal worth $19 billion. Where that leaves Snapchat – we’ll just have to wait and see.

Better news feeds

The news feed section of Facebook is constantly being improved as it the most popular part of the app. Facebook is set to make the news feed even more news-oriented. And as Facebook becomes smarter it will learn more about you and what you like. This may be a bit creepy on a personal level but is bound to be a boon for business.
